Please read these HealthTrainU™ Policies carefully before using www.healthtrainu.com ("the Site") operated by ACHCU ("us", "we", or "our"). This Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of www.healthtrainu.com. By accessing or using the Site in any manner, including, but not limited to, visiting or browsing the Site or contributing content or other materials to the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. HealthTrainU™ reserves the right at their sole discretion to make changes to these Policies from time to time, and those changes will be effective immediately upon posting.
Please review these policies periodically for changes.
System Requirements
HealthTrainU is a Software as a Service (SaaS) application compatible with browsers running on PC, Mac, and Linux operating systems. HealthTrainU can also be used on mobile devices.
Internet and Browser Settings:
- An active, persistant Internet connection is required to access HealthTrainU
- For optimal user experience, a high speed Internet connection os 1mb or greater is recommended
- JavaScript must be enabled to access HealthTrainU
- Cookies must be enabled to login to a HealthTrainU account
Supported Browser Versions
While HealthTrainU can be accessed from many browser versions, for best performance and security, we recommend using the latest officially released browser version. Developer, Beta or pre-release browser versions may work but are not offically supported by HealthTrainU.
For full functionality, HealthTrainU requires the following minimum browser versions - or greater:
- Internet Explorer 11
- Chrome 30
- Firefox 27.0
- Safari 10
- The use of unsupported browsers may result in application errors or degraded functionality
Operating Systems and Browsers
HealthTrainU supports the following platform and browser combinations:
- Windows: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge
- Mac: Chrome, Firefox and Safari
- Linux: Firefox
- ChromeOS: Chrome
Anti-Discrimination Policy
Continuing its long-standing policy to support active equality for all persons, HealthTrainU, and any providers sponsored for CEU delivery do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, citizenship status, veteran status, disability or any other criterion specified by federal, state or local laws, in the administration of its programs. Rather, HealthTrainU affirms that it admits learners and selects employees and instructors regardless of their race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, citizenship status, veteran status, disability, pregnancy and gender expression, or any other criterion specified by federal, state or local laws and thereafter accords them all the rights and privileges.

Commercial Bias Policy
The authors and/or presenters of this learning event were full-time employees of ACHC/HealthTrainU™ at the time the learning event was created unless otherwise noted. We do not intend to endorse any particular model, brand of product or manufacturer and the content was written without any commercial bias.
Intellectual Property Policy
An Author/Seminar Developer under contract to ACHC/HealthTrainU™ will acknowledge that all writings or other copyrightable work developed or produced by a Writer/Seminar Developer under an agreement with ACHC/HealthTrainU™ is owned by ACHC/HealthTrainU™.
Any writings and inventions developed by the Author/Seminar Developer in connection with the Work performed under contract shall be the sole and exclusive property of ACHC/HealthTrainU™ and the Author /Seminar Developer will assign to ACHC/HealthTrainU™ any and all right, title and interest in the Work performed by the Author or Seminar Developer under the agreement.
ACHC/HealthTrainU™ may use and alter such work without accounting to the Author or Seminar Developer in any way, and may add to it or combine it with other work, during and after the term of a contract without obligation or liability of any kind to the Writer.
The Author/Seminar Developer shall not use the body of the Work as a part of an educational or instructional package that competes directly with any program of ACHC/HealthTrainU™ (a “Prohibited Usage”). A Prohibited Usage shall include offering the subject material as a correspondence course, or as a course on CD or as a part of on-line training on behalf of a direct competitor of the ACHC/HealthTrainU™.
Intellectual Property Rights of Third Parties: The Author/Seminar Developer will assure ACHC/HealthTrainU™ that he/she will not knowingly violate the proprietary rights of any third party, including any trade secrets, patents or copyrights of such party.
More specifically, ACHC/HealthTrainU™ prohibits plagiarism in the development of courses and seminars. Plagiarism is the act of stealing another person’s intellectual property which includes ideas, inventions, original works of authorship, words, slogans, designs, proprietary information and using them as your own without proper acknowledgement and/or permission of the original author or inventor. Pricing/Refund Policy
All credit card purchases of educational content are subject to the following:
- Refunds are made only to the credit card used for the purchase
- Request for refunds must be made within 5 business days of purchase
- If CEUs are awarded and a certificate issued, there will be no refund
Privacy Policy
HealthTrainU™ maintains confidentiality, privacy and security of your student records. All access is protected by individual, unique IDs and Passwords. Access to your records is limited to the following:
- You have access to your HealthTrainU™ online training anytime using your unique user ID (login name) and password.
- Your direct Admin and the Educational Contact at your company also have access to your educational record in HealthTrainU™ as part of their supervisory duties and while you are under their employment.
- Limited staff at HealthTrainU™ and the ACHC also has access to the information as required for their jobs.
- At times, access may be granted to credentialing agencies carrying out their functions concerning verification of on-going credits.
- Other than the above situations, HealthTrainU will not share student information unless we have received expressed permission from the student.
Record Retention Policy
HealthTrainU™ retains all student records and transcripts for a minimum of seven (7) years from the completion date of the assessment as per the industry on-line learning Standard.
Release of Information Policy
If you leave the company, your records will still be accessible, but no longer online. Please submit a request for a transcript with the following information:
- Your full name
- Your current address
- Your former employer
- The last 4 digits of your social security number
- Your former user ID and password
Records of attendance at seminars are kept at the HealthTrainU™ office, in Cary, NC and are accessible only at your request. When requesting that information (such as for submission to an agency needing verification of CEUs) please submit your full name, the last 4 digits of your social security number or 4-digit PIN and valid email.
Termination
We may terminate your access to the Site, without cause or notice from HealthTrainU, which may result in the forfeiture of all information associated with you. All records will be stored for seven years after the last test date, but may be purged from the system after that period. All provisions of this Agreement that by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability (see "Record Retention Policy").
Use of Cookies
Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. From time-to-time you may be required to delete your Internet history in your browser to clear the accumulated cookies.
HealthTrainU uses cookies to help us remember and process the items in your student profile and record, understand and save your preferences for future visits and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.
